Our client has built a rapidly growing virtual event platform that connects communities of creators, artists and fans.  

This person would be the #2 technical person under the CTO, assisting with hands on coding but also mentoring other engineers, leading code review, and working with leadership on conceptual architecture and implementing new systems.

The founders are entrepreneurs and engineers who have successfully launched several tech startups, and recently received a large round of funding being applied to engineering growth.

• Active participation in code review
• Pushing team to continuously improve quality and stability of code
• Scaling and testing
• Mentorship of Jr. Engineers
• Collaboration with leadership on planning and launching new systems and applications (for example machine learning)

• Hands on experience coding with at least two server-side technologies - Python, Javascript, PHP, etc. (Python/Flask preferred)
• Linux, Ngnix, MySQL
  
• Comfortable with Cloud OPS (AWS)

• Experience scaling or partnering with data teams, machine learning applications, etc.
• Prior startup experience
